SANGAFOWA-COULIBALY wins CAEF approval

131,765,498,575 CFA francs. This is the amount of the preliminary draft programme budget for 2024 for the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy. Presented with masterly skill by the holder of this ministerial portfolio, Mamadou SANGAFOWA-COULIBALY, it was unanimously adopted on Friday 10 November by the members of the National Assembly's Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs (CAEF). It is divided into 4 programmes: 8,262,799,985 CFA francs for General Administration, 414,254,905 CFA francs for Hydrocarbons, 121,853,745,247 CFA francs for the Energy sector and 1,234,798,438 CFA francs for Mines and Geology. This budget will enable the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy to continue to carry out its missions with a view to increasing the participation of the Mines, Hydrocarbons and Energy sectors in the structural transformation of the economy, the increase in national wealth and the well-being of the Ivorian people. Mr SANGAFOWA-COULIBALY also took the opportunity of his presentation to the National Assembly to take stock of the 2023 financial year and outline the prospects for 2024.
